Executive Committee Meeting - Exercises the full authority and power of the Council when action is necessary in between Council meetings. Maintains a strategic overview of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and the workforce system. Approve final recommendations to the Governor for the WIA 15% statewide discretionary funds. Oversight of Council strategic direction against mission, goals, values and behaviors and recommend changes as needed. Ensure that Committee recommendations to the Governor are harmonious with Council's strategic mission and goals.
